Michael Hiller

Michael is the Founder and Managing Principal of Hiller, PC, and has been a practicing attorney for more than 25 years.  He has dedicated his career to using the law as an instrument for social change and the common good.  In connection with his law practice, Michael represents the cannabis industry; medical cannabis physicians and their patients; the disabled; policyholders who have been mistreated by their insurance companies; people unfairly subjected to mortgage foreclosures; individuals who have been deprived of their civil rights; and preservation organizations, neighborhoods and communities against out-of-control real estate development and polluters.  Most recently, Michael, along with a team of lawyers and other professionals, sued the United States Government, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the Justice Department and the DEA, arguing that the Controlled Substances Act, as it pertains to the misclassification of cannabis as a Schedule I drug, violates the United States Constitution.  The case is currently pending in New York City. Prior to founding Hiller, PC, Michael was a Professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College of Criminal Justice for eight years.  In addition, Michael has been designated a SuperLawyer by SuperLawyer’s Magazine every year since 2009.  He was accepted as a life member of both the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums in 2010.  He has been a standing mediator for the New York State Supreme Court for more than 13 years.  And in 2017, Michael received the Grassroots Preservation Award by the Historic Districts Council for his work on behalf of preservationist organizations in New York City. Stephanie Wilson

Stephanie Wilson is a founding partner and editor in chief of Sensi magazine, overseeing the publication’s editorial expansion into dozens of markets across the country. Sensi currently has editions in print in five markets—Denver/Boulder, Southern Colorado, Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego—with more launching spring 2018. Since graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2003, Stephanie has spent her career making magazines, focusing on luxury, lifestyle, and travel titles. By her late twenties, she was editorial director of Haute Living, launching a series of über-luxury lifestyle titles in Miami, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and overseeing the online division. She then became the launch editorial director of Royal Media Partners, the exclusive onboard media partner of the world’s second-largest cruise company, Royal Caribbean Cruises, where she oversaw the creation of a five-tier integrated media program that included print, video, web, app, and live marketing components. In summer 2015, she relocated to Denver and began working on Sensi’s pro-cannabis city lifestyle magazine concept.
