After starting her career on Wall Street, Jennifer amassed over a decade of experience in licensing and product development from roles at AOL, MLB Advanced Media, FIFA, and other leading organizations. While on the executive team at Bitly, Jennifer led the company’s key strategic initiatives and business development including data licensing and platform partnerships. Ms. Braddock met Fritz Chess, Founder of Eden Labs, in the late ‘90s. Sharing a keen interest in plants as medicine, she was impressed with his botanical extraction knowledge and his ability to engineer highly sophisticated extraction systems that were easy to operate and affordable. At this point, he had already developed the Coldfinger design and Eden’s first generation CO2 system, becoming the first person in the US to extract Kava Kava and Cannabis with CO2. Communications, Harborside Health Center Six years ago, Samantha Campos entered the cannabis industry as a communications consultant, assisting in writing licensing permit applications for dispensaries, and ultimately providing media services for Harborside Health Center, the nation’s largest model medical cannabis dispensary. As part of the media relations team, Samantha (along with Gaynell Rogers) helped Harborside secure positive coverage from major news outlets around the world, including CNN, the BBC, New York Times, Fortune magazine and the Discovery Channel–which aired a documentary series featuring Harborside in December 2011. Her marketing work with Harborside involves conveying their extensive knowledge of cannabis history, products, science, innovations, politics, legal compliance and best business practices. She also helps regularly update departmental training and operations manuals, assists in maintaining social media accounts, and edits monthly newsletters for patients and staff. Director of Government Affairs, Berkeley Patients Group Sabrina Fendrick came to Berkeley Patients Group in January 2015 as Director of Government Affairs after spending nearly seven years at the Washington DC-based National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. In 2010 she founded the NORML Women’s Alliance, the first nationwide outreach program for women in the cannabis sector, and served as the NORML Director of Women’s Outreach for the next four years.
