Founder & CEO, Sweet Grass Kitchen Julie Berliner is the Founder and CEO of Sweet Grass Kitchen, a Denver-based edible cannabis manufacturer founded in 2009. Sweet Grass Kitchen specializes in cannabutter-based edibles, and distributes to over 150 centers throughout Colorado. In addition to her role at Sweet Grass Kitchen, she is also a founding member and chair of the Cannabis Business Alliance Edibles Council. Julie has represented the edibles industry as a panelist on workgroups organized by the Marijuana Enforcement Division to develop policies on infused product serving size and potency levels and packaging. Julie graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in education and psychology in 2008. When a friend asked that her popular chocolate chip cookie recipe be infused with cannabis for sale at his dispensary, she decided to take a left turn and launched Sweet Grass Kitchen. CEO, Infinite Message Tom Quigley is CEO of the Infinite Message family of companies which work together to bring cannabis lifestyle products to market nationwide, including The Gluu – the first ever true B2B distribution, sales and marketing platform for cannabis culture and wellness products. Quigley successfully built, ran and exited a goods for resale company, which distributed more than 300 products to more than 40,000 retail stores across the country with revenues north of $30M/year. He built national brands in a heavily state regulated industry and now, because of his personal cannabis journey, brings his extensive business experience to our growing industry. After a serious health concern lead him to discover the benefits of medical cannabis, Quigley planned to head west where the cannabis industry was taking shape. In 2014, everything changed when legitimate medical cannabis legislation was proposed in Florida in the form of a constitutional amendment. Quigley dug his heals in and founded the Florida Cannabis Coalition (FCC), dedicated to bringing together Florida’s patient, activist and business communities together to ensure safe access and fair government and business practices as Florida’s cannabis industry evolves. In October 2015, Quigley launched Common Bond Collaborative (CBC), a business development center for products in cannabis and sustainable sector. Chief Development Officer & Co-founder, American Cannabis Company Ellis has 15 years of horticultural experience, 8 years owning/operating businesses, and 2 years of international business. Working in the specialty cut flower market and running indoor gardens at an early age helped him understand complex growing systems and production protocols. Prior to starting American Cannabis Company Inc. (ACC), Ellis, along with ACC CEO Corey Hollister, owned and operated a medical cannabis center called The Village Green Society (VGS) in Boulder, Colorado. During his time operating VGS, Ellis was able to successfully manage his business’ vendor relations. Other accomplishments include; identifying pest mitigation protocol for the hemp russet mite, as featured in Skunk Magazine. Ellis works to perpetuate ACCs vision of redefining society’s relationship with cannabis through responsible stewardship. After selling the VGS in 2013, Ellis and Corey started ACC for the purpose of providing consulting and advisory services to the cannabis industry. Some of Ellis’s achievements include increasing yields by 111% for the Green Solution, while decreasing input costs.  Also, Ellis consulted for La Contes dispensary in Denver, where he raised yields 30% on two separate consulting periods.
