Since her infant daughter’s brain tumor diagnosis in June of 2013, Tracy has dedicated a huge part of her life to educating herself on the medicinal powers of medical marijuana in treating her own daughter’s disease, as well as all other pediatric and adult cancers, epilepsy, autism and beyond.  Tracy has worked on a global scale with families who are seeking education, and treatment options for their loved ones, and has guided many patients to unheard of success. Tracy and her team at CannaKids have recently entered into a collaboration with the Technion Institute in Israel where they are legally studying the effects of cannabinoids on many cancer types.  CannaKids is sharing all of their patient data that they have been meticulously collecting with Technion.  CannaKids is also working with another team of scientists in Israel, and will be opening up a national campaign that would give patients all over the US access to genomic sequencing, and cannabinoid recommendations based on the patient’s genetic mutations found in their tumor or blood sample. Chief Financial Officer and Patient Advocate, ForwardGro, LLC Gail Rand is a certified public accountant, serving as chief financial officer and patient advocate for ForwardGro, one of the fifteen companies given a pre-award to cultivate cannabis in Maryland. As a former auditor and consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and telecommunications companies, Rand has experience in finance, systems, and process improvement. Rand first immersed herself in medical cannabis advocacy as a parent advocate on behalf of her son who suffers from epilepsy, autism, and ADHD. Since 2013, she played an integral role in helping to pass the medical cannabis legislation in Maryland.
