Patrick Moran

CEO, AcquiFlow LLC

October 2013, Patrick entered the cannabis industry, via The ArcView Group, as a strategic investor. He immediately saw the emerging opportunity. By April 2014, he had assembled a team and formed the first open, legal & transparent Texas-based cannabis company – AcquiFlow LLC. With the longterm goal of developing a nationally distributed brand, AcquiFlow raised start-up capital and named Patrick as CEO. Soon after, Canopy Boulder invited him to be a mentor.

October 2014, to help prepare for the 2015 Texas legislative session, Patrick co-founded the Texas Cannabis Industry Association (TCIA), and was named it’s inaugural president. Patrick later joined the lobbying effort on behalf of SB339, the “Texas Compassionate-Use Act.” That bill was voted into law May 2015 by a veto-proof majority and signed by the Governor.

Previous professional experience includes practicing law as a creditor’s-rights litigator for national banks; clerking for US senators on Capitol Hill; production team on a political talk show; writing & acting on television, optioning two pilots; writer-producer for independent feature films; and founder/operator of an award winning swim team in LA.

Patrick is an active supporter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP) and other philanthropic endeavors, including the North Texas Food Bank and the SPCA. He lives in McKinney, Texas with his wife Courtney and their pup Chloe.
