Lori Glauser formed Signal Bay, Inc. (OTC:SGBY) in 2014 as an advisory firm to address the growing needs of industry intelligence, compliance, and sustainability of the emerging cannabis industry. Signal Bay now owns an operating cannabis test lab in Oregon, and holds interests in marijuana related entities across the US. The company also owns and operates the media properties CANNAiQ.com, MarijuanaMath.com.
Ms. Glauser has over 20 years’ experience in engineering, consulting, and startups, and has expertise in business planning, business process design, financial forecasting, risk, customer experience, supply chain management, energy management, technology, and utility rate design. Lori entered the cannabis industry when she was engaged by Electrum Partners in the development of license applications for several proposed Medical Marijuana Establishments in Nevada. She has since worked with cannabis entrepreneurs from Maryland and Massachusetts to the west coast and Hawaii. Lori has joined ArcView as an investor member, and is a member of National Cannabis Industry Association and serves on the sustainability committee of FOCUS (Foundation for Cannabis Unified Standards).
Lori has substantial experience with regulatory and policy issues, and has supported development of witness testimony documents. Ms. Glauser has been a management consultant focusing on the energy industry with several firms including Ernst & Young, IBM, and Financial Times Group. In 2008, Lori’s company Tangerine Network Devices, a smart energy and water management system for commercial businesses, was selected as finalist in the California Clean Tech Open competition. Ms. Glauser previously worked for startup companies in the business intelligence space. For SNL Financial, she was Associate Director of the Energy industry business intelligence platform. At Resource Data International, Ms. Glauser provided advisory services to the energy industry; worked closely with the several business intelligence platforms; and contributed to syndicated studies including Power Outlook and Energy, Economics, and the Environment.
Ms. Glauser began her career in 1991 working as a mechanical engineer, primarily at nuclear power plants where she focused on seismic analysis, as well as HVAC, control systems, and piping systems design and implementation.
Lori has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from University of Alabama. Lori was also adjunct instructor of Project Management at the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
