We’re back with our monthly installment of our favorite social media posts from the Women Grow community from the previous month. It’s one of the many ways we can highlight the impact women are having in the cannabis industry! Remember, to be featured on our blog, post to social using the hashtag #womengrow. We especially love posts that highlight the positive impact women business leaders are having in cannabis. We can’t wait to see what posts you come up with.

Our first highlight comes from Studio 420 a Denver-based cannabis friendly creative agency. The team at Studio 420 celebrated the diverse group of female executives in the cannabis space who make up 36% of the industry. We love highlighting women who embrace their fortitude and work to make the industry an inclusive space for all women. Together, we have more power!

Next, we love this post from Sensi Magazine from the San Diego chapter’s Signature Networking Event! The San Diego Event focused on taking a step back to evaluate how to move forward in the cannabis industry in the New Year. The team at Sensi Magazine took to Instagram with this beautiful collage and were delighted to announce their partnership with the San Diego market!

The cannabis industry started 2017 off with a perfect reminder of the accomplishments and advances we made in 2016. The Hollywood sign was wonderfully changed to read “Hollyweed, ” and Mariguerita captured it on Instagram. After California legalized recreational cannabis in 2016 along with six other states passing legalization measures in recreational or medicinal form, the artist, Zachary Cole Fernandez decided to let all of Southern California (and the world!) know that the cannabis is about to explode. The artist has since turned himself in, but we just happen to love this – and apparently so does Tommy Chong!

Next, Carolyn Kaufman attended the Signature Networking Event in Boston and was inspired by one of their speakers. She shared her photo on Instagram thanking the Boston team for putting together an inspiring event. We’re so proud that the women across the country come to Women Grow events to connect, learn, and be inspired by these industry experts. Thanks for sharing Carolyn!

Next, our very own Jazmin Hupp shared her prep work for the 2017 Women Grow Leadership Summit with Twitter. Jazmin along with Jane West co-Founded Women Grow and have since passed the reins to our new CEO Leah Heise. Although no longer running Women Grow, Jazmin lent her wit and wisdom to this year’s Summit. It takes a village, and we’re lucky to be surrounded by such talented and amazing women!

The Women Grow market in Bay Area channeled their inner goddesses in early January with a yoga event with Cannabis Club TV in San Francisco. Cannabis Club TV is a television network dedicated to the cannabis industry. They broadcast programs in dispensaries and online that are educational, entertaining and informative for the industry. Women Grow fully supports a healthy work-life balance, so it was only appropriate that our members teamed with Cannabis Club TV for this unique gathering. The event had a great turnout! Namaste!
